Walking to the disaster

You cannot miss this moving letter in memory of our beloved teacher Manel, a true source of inspiration for TES. It's a beautiful text which has been written from the heart, that same heart that touched us all and that he used to share so happily.  Get into our Opinion Section.

March 1st is always a date to celebrate.
It's a date that should help us remember what we are here for.
By here I mean our school.
For our students and teachers

We're here to...

We're here to learn, we're here to share
We're here to thrive, we're here to smile
We're here to work hard, we're here to laugh
In a theatre play..., to play a part
In our lives... to write a book or three
We're here to compose a melody
We're here to use or fix computers
We're here to behave as loyal tutors
Do not forget to be honest and humble
And when telling stories, do not fumble
We're here to enjoy the trip and make a way
We're here to celebrate the day
We're here to write a poem or film a picture
and just in case make out a scripture
Do you need a mag, a llibret, or need a paper?
We're here to be human, not machines, nor just makers
We're here to love, we're here to care
We're here to give you all of us, only if we dare.
